Australia Day in Uppsala was an awesome night where not only the Aussies but everyone from all around the world came together to celebrate! Varmlands Nations was hosting an Australia Day party complete with lamingtons, cheesymite scrolls, sausage rolls and pavlova, VB and Aussie wine so of course, I was keen as beans to go there!
We decided to celebrate by wearing some Green and Gold and my Aussie flag stickers came in handy too!

The party at Varmlands didn't end up being superb except for the food which was EXCELLENT! hot cheesymite scrolls are DEEE-LICIOUS!!! There was also some chants of AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE - OI OI OI!!!! So after we had eaten our fill, we moved on to Stockholm Nation as there is meant to be a great party night there. Turns out, TOO GOOD. We waited in the huge line for 2 hours and in the end, with our feet frozen and our enthusiasm waning just a bit, we went home and made hot chocolate on the stove instead. Either way, it was an awesome Australia Day.
